The interactive and free-standing installation consists of a closed cube of 0,6×0,6×2,25m made from lightweight concrete. This is the basic tower-like and all-around closed structure of this modern adaptation of the well known wailing wall. Instead of mortar the gaps between the stones are being stuffed with paper messages containing benedictions, laments, or just any kind of note (pieces of advertisements, newspapers, bubblegum-paper etc.) that people would like to hand over to the wall. The wall is a contemporary topic and metaphor – as a separator of the inner and the outer, of inclusion and exclusion, the body, the psychic and the national, of stopping and stuffing but as well of permeability and surmounting.
