We live between seduction and guilt, desire and disgust, aesthetics and superficiality and the desire to activate the deeper meaning of things by a simple turn of the hand. Consuming has become our religion – successful consumption stands for happiness, persistant karma and meaning in life. The large pink prayer wheel is the main object of this series of sculptures – the mother of all consumer prayer wheels. She alone is able to kindle the strongest and most diverse consumer karma. The object carries its own hue, the Pröpper – Pink, which was developed just for this series and whose recipe is top secret. I intend to build these modern prayer wheels in about 20m length and establish them in several public places, to offer modern humans the possibility to accumulate good karma while passing by.
