Sky layers
I’ve been dealing with the topic of ‘Layers’ for quite some time. It’s about superimposition/layeredness and the permeability of our perception of the world. Our memories overlap like layers through which the past shines through. The (medial) images that we have in our heads constantly overlap and flow into one another. We are permanently stuck in some kind of media and social discourse that is also ‘ghosting around us’. There is often a rather Babylonian jumble of languages around us… We as humans are therefore actually quite permeable beings… Language, i.e. the thinking of concepts, terms and metaphors plays a role in addition to the very visual and sensory impressions (e.g. of celestial forms and colors). . Both always flow into each other and overlap. In this respect, the (stamped, printed, hand-painted) writing on the pictures, alongside the figurative (often blurred) elements, is a central element in visualizing these processes. However, writing also has an aesthetic and poetic-spiritual function. In this respect, different scripts and languages of the world are used to carry messages (poems, haikus/koans, prayers) with positive energy. Because: Images are not just two-dimensional images, but energy carriers that faithfully pass on the stored energy to the buyer/owner for years.
